Montauk Friends of Erin’s 64th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Sunday, March 29 at 12:00pm

Join us at an annual St Patrick's Day Parade to bring an end to the dreary winters in Montauk, and welcome Spring with a joyous and festive Irish celebration. 

Free admission; starts at 12:00 PM on Edgemere Street by Montauk Fire Department and ends on Main Street near Montauk IGA. The Montauk Friends of Erin is proudly honoring this year’s Grand Marshal–Thomas Grenchi Jr.

Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt

Montauk’s 11th annual Eggstavaganza will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Join Candied Anchor, the Montauk Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, & Montauk Chamber of Commerce for the 11th Annual Eggstravaganza! Celebrate springtime and the Easter holiday a classic Easter egg hunt, field day style races and games, plus the chance to win awesome prizes! The event will start at 11:00 AM on the Montauk Green. This free event includes Easter baskets, bunny ears, and fun for children ages 10 and under.

The Montauk Lighthouse is a national historic landmark is located at the very tip of eastern Long Island. Our magnificent lighthouse provides unforgettable 360° views over the Block Island Sound, the Atlantic Ocean and points west. Whether you’re in town for a week or a day, no visit to Montauk is complete without a stop at its historic lighthouse.

Montauk Music Festival

May 14 to 17
The 15th annual Montauk Music Festival, hosted by Montauk Sun, is coming back this year, from May 14 – May 17, with a four-day musical celebration featuring talented up-and-coming independent artists, set against the backdrop of one of the most idyllic beach communities on the east coast. The Main Stage Is back in the center of town this year and a percentage of the proceeds will benefit Lucia’s Angels & Coalition for Women’s Cancers. Enjoy live performances at Gurney’s hot spot, The Firepit, as well as at venues around town where dozens of artists boasting a wide variety of musical styles will be performing for free in the spirit of sharing original music with audiences and fellow musicians.

Art Show On The Green

June 26 to 28 & August 18 to 20
The East End’s most popular outdoor art show will be running two shows this summer, from June 26-28 and August 14-16. Taking place on the Town Green in the center of downtown Montauk, this world class art festival features award winning artists from around the country exhibiting in a variety of mediums including photography, painting, drawing, jewelry, sculpture and more. The art show is free and all are welcome to attend.

Montauk Farmers Market

May to October
Swing into Montauk each Thursday of the summer season to enjoy the largest Farmers Market on the East End with over 40 vendors. Open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM every Thursday from May 21 through September 10, switching to Fridays from September 18 – October 2. You are sure to love this community favorite event. From fresh veggies and cut flowers, to fantastic olive oils, to delicious sangria – this market has something for everyone in the family to enjoy!

The Robert J. Aaron Memorial Mighty Montauk Triathlon

Saturday, June 13
Founded in 1982 by the late Robert J. Aaron. A beloved resident of Montauk, NY. Robert was know for his fearless enthusiasm for endurance activities; such as  surfing, skiing, marathon, triathlons and fishing. This race was known for years as "The Mighty Montauk", and it was always considered the east end, season opener. It features a very scenic course through the beautiful hamlet of Montauk. The race consists of a 1 mile swim, 20 miles bike and 6.2 miles run. The annual triathlon is hosting competitors on Saturday, June 13th, starting at 7:30am. Come show your support for our local athletes or join in and sign yourself up!

Blessing of the Fleet

Sunday, June 14, 5:00pm-7:00pm
Join us in Montauk Harbor for a local tradition! Starting around noon on the second Sunday in June, the Blessing of the Fleet is hosted by the Viking Fleet in collaboration with St. Therese of Lisieux, the Montauk Community Church, and Chabad of the Hamptons. Head up to the Harbor to find the perfect spot to watch all the action–down the beach and jetty at Sunset Beach (next to old Gosman’s Dock) or across the channel at Inlet Seafood or Gin Beach. Grab the cooler and your beach chairs, this fun day celebrates Montauk’s boating legacy. Boat-lovers can watch most of Montauk’s beloved vessels get blessed and parade the Harbor before an after party at Inlet Seafood Restaurant!

Beacon of Hope 5K

Saturday, June 20, 9:00am-2:00pm
Support two local women’s cancer organizations by participating in the Beacon of Hope: a 5k run/walk through Camp Hero finishing at the historic Montauk Point Lighthouse.  Run/Walk with us to increase awareness, raise funds and bring hope to our community members.

This event directly benefits Lucia’s Angels and the Coalition for Women’s Cancers.
