COVID-19 Response

Gurney’s Resorts most important consideration is the health and well-being of our community, and as the COVID-19 situation evolves, we continue to update our policies and procedures with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We have taken every step possible to ensure your safety, from check-in to check-out, including the addition of rigorous cleaning protocols, increasing the frequency of cleaning, and placing hand sanitizing stations throughout the property.

Please find the steps below that we've taken to ensure proper social distancing and to stop the spread of COVID-19:

  • Self Parking upon request and valet options
  • Hand sanitizing stations, antibacterial wipes and masks throughout the property 
  • Arrival package inclusive of your room key and details on our in-room programming offerings
  • Robust room service and grab-and-go menus
  • Utilization of additional outdoor spaces throughout the resort
  • The Beach Club is open to resort guests only
  • The spa is currently closed for renovations

As a reminder, for all guests: NY state recommends that face coverings should be worn in public – both indoors and outdoors in the event a guest hasn’t been vaccinated. Exceptions are made for children under two years of age and anyone whose health would be negatively impacted by wearing a face covering.
